Profile

Ellen Stedtefeld is an art educator, living and working in Cincinnati, Ohio.



Prior to moving back to her hometown in 2014, Stedtefeld spent several years in Washington, DC perfecting her craft as a triple threat artist, art historian and art educator.  With a background in museum education, Stedtefeld has served as an educator at several art museums, taught at schools of all types, and volunteered with a non-profit committed to social justice. Stedtefeld takes pride in her ability to connect and share her love of art with audiences of all types. Currently, Stedtefeld is combining her talents to develop and coordinate a mural tour program for ArtWorks.  When she is not working, Stedtefeld can be found practicing yoga, sipping coffee, and exploring neighborhoods around town.



Stedtefeld received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Ohio Wesleyan University and an M.A. in Art History and Museum Studies from Case Western Reserve University.  Stedtefeld participated in the DC Teaching Fellows and received her K-12 Teaching License through George Washington University.
